I’m Matthew, a photographer and filmmaker based in the West Midlands, available worldwide. Working across endurance sport, athletes and lifestyle brands.
I’m drawn to the parts of sport that aren’t always seen: the raw, uncertain and unpolished moments behind the result. I try to create imagery that feels considered without losing the reality of the moment.
From HYROX events and athlete-led films to branded campaigns and social content, I work closely with people to understand what they’re pursuing and find the story within it, instead of making my own. Sometimes that means documenting an event as it unfolds other times, it means building a complete visual idea from the ground up.
Whatever the format, I want the work to feel honest, purposeful and emotionally grounded.
Because what you chase deserves to be seen.
